How important is spirituality in your life?
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1, KJV)
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” (Isaiah 54:17, KJV)
My spirituality is incredibly important to me, not just for my overall well-being but for my mental state as well. God comes first, above everything else, because. He recently showed me that with His strength, mercy, and glory, I can survive anything. That is a real and beautiful realization!
When you feel like you have nothing and nobody, remember that you have God. His love is unconditional; He will never take it away. You can come to Him just as you are, and He will accept you and help you rise again. He did this for me, and I believe He can do it for anyone. God is everything.
And he said, “And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” (Habakkuk 2:2, KJV)
Although I wouldn’t want to live without certain people and things, I know that as long as I have God, I can survive anything. This gives me hope every day and the strength to keep going. It’s a God thing!
